Draw a star kolam (rangoli) in front of the house in the morning to invite the deity to your house.

Try to observe a fast, complete or partial. Fruits and milk can be consumed if it’s a partial fast.

Visit a Murugan temple and offer prayers.

Muruga devotees observe fast on Shasti tithi (the 6th day of the waning and waxing lunar fortnight) and on Tuesdays to please Murugan. This helps strengthen Mars in the birth chart.
