Akshaya Tritiya 2021 is very significant for Hindus and Jains. Apart from performing Poojas and various rituals and praying for divine blessings, devotees also feast on certain traditional delicacies. Though traditionally, people observe a fast and worship Lord Vishnu by offering rice grains, they also enjoy some lip-smacking delicacies on this occasion.
Here are some of the healthy and traditional snacks that people prepare and eat on Akshaya Tritiya day.
Chaklis
This is a deep-fried snack made using rice flour, wheat flour, and gram flour, or a mixture of lentil flours. It can be lightly spiced with turmeric and chili powder.
Lauki Halwa
