Goddess Matangi is one of the ten Mahavidyas or Tantric goddesses. She is a fierce form of Goddess Durga and the Tantric form of Saraswati, who is the goddess of art and learning. She rules knowledge, speech, music, and the arts. It is believed that one can acquire supernatural powers by worshipping her.
