His devotion and sincerity pleased Shiva, who hence blessed him.

The Parshuram Mahadev Temple is built in the traditional Rajasthani architecture, with intricate carvings, ornate decorations, and detailed sculptures. The sanctum enshrines the idol of Shiva, beautifully adorned and installed amidst elaborate architectural elements. Devotees worship the main deity, Shiva, as Parshuram. It is a 1000-year-old temple. The entire cave remains on the same rock.

The Idol of Ganesh and the nine Kunds in the temple will never dry out and are considered holy and pious. Visitors ascend 500 steps to reach the Parshuram Mahadev Cave Temple, which can also be reached by a short trek.

The Parshuram Mahadev Temple conducts a huge fair on Shravan Shukla Shasti and Saptami every year between August and September. The temple organizes two fairs annually. The Amar Ganga Charitable Trust organizes 'Sangeet Sandhya' (musical nights) during fairs where local artists sing devotional songs. Over 900,000 people visit the holy place every year.
