The Architecture of the Ayyappa Swamy Temple

Ayyappa Swamy Temple features the typical Kerala temple architectural style. A Deepa Sthambam is present at the entrance of the temple.
The sanctum is designed with a copper-plated roof, and four golden finials are at the top of it. Ayyappan, the presiding deity, graces his devotees from the sanctum. He is decorated with flowers and garlands. There is a stand in front of the sanctum where devotees light lamps and keep them on it.
The architecture of the Madiwala Ayyappa Swamy Temple is a blend of the traditional and the contemporary. The intricately carved pillars, ornate sculptures, and vibrant colors resonate with the spiritual essence of the temple.
Ganapati, Subramanya, Vishnu, Shiva, and Devi have separate shrines in the Ayyappa Swamy Temple. Madiwala Ayyappan is also known as Kulanthai Daivam.
There are small shops at the entrance of the Ayyappa Swamy Temple where visitors buy Pooja items.
