The Anjanadri Hill is recognized as the birthplace of Sri Anjaneya Swamy (Hanuman). The name 'Anjanadri' comes from Anjana,' the mother of Hanuman, signifying her connection to this place. Hence, Anjanadri is considered holy and revered by devotees of Hanuman.
