Introduction to the Hadshi Temple

The Hadshi Temple is famous in Vadgaon Budruk, Mulshi, Maharashtra. It is spread over 300 acres, surrounded by lush green dense forest and huge mountains. The lawn area is spread over 4 acres of land. Hadshi Temple is a must-visit place for families and children.

Mr. Jadhav built Hadshi Temple in 2009 as per the advice of Shri Satya Sai Baba. The main deity of Hadshi Temple is Vithoba, also called Vitthal or Panduranga. Vithoba is a manifestation of Krishna. He is highly revered by devotees in the region, particularly in Maharashtra. The Hadshi Temple is a significant pilgrimage spot for Vithoba devotees.

The Architecture of the Hadshi Temple

The architecture of the Hadshi Temple reflects the traditional Maratha style with a unique and distinctive design. Before the main temple, there is a separate big shrine for Ganesh. People can reach the main temple within a few minutes from the Ganesh shrine.

In the two-storied Hadshi Temple, the upper level features the idols of Vithoba Rukmini (Panduranga Vitthal), and the lower level is dedicated to Shirdi Sai Baba and Satya Sai Baba. Below the temple, a meditation hall is available to meditate peacefully. The Hadshi Temple has Vitthal, Rukmini, and Ganesh idols. A lift is available for the elderly and physically challenged people to reach the temple's upper level.

There is a small canteen near the Hadshi Temple. Rooms are also available here.

Sant Darshan Museum

Sant Darshan Museum is a newly built museum behind the Hadshi Temple. The museum has a unique shape and a walk-through tunnel. There are over 1220 sculptures in the museum. A 30-foot-high Sai Baba sculpture, Shiv Parvati's 15-foot sculpture, Krishna, Sant Namdev, Sant Tukaram, Swamy Vivekananda, and Nandi are some of the sculptures.

A swing, ladder, and boating are available for children in the Adventure Park. The Sant Darshan Museum charges 200 rupees per person as an entry fee.

Hadshi Lake

Hadshi Lake is a 3.9 km distance from Hadshi Temple. Visitors can enjoy the boating here. They can see Tikona Fort from the lake. Pawana Lake is at an 11.8 km distance. Many resorts around the temple and lakes offer overnight camping experiences with Kayaking, Pedal Boating, Barbecue, etc. One can enjoy beautiful moments that include lakeside camping, listening to the chirps of birds in the evening, and watching the ripples in the lake.

Festivals in the Hadshi Temple

All major Hindu festivals, such as Diwali, Makara Sankranti, Holi, and Ganesh Chaturthi, are celebrated in the Hadshi Temple.
