Kamdev Mantra

Introduction

Kamdev is known to be the God of love, passion, and lust. He depicts desire, sexuality, and sensuality. Kamdev is the son of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi; his wife is Rati. Kamdev’s weapon is a bow made of sugarcane and arrows made of flowers. He is also known as the “Indian Cupid,” who makes people understand the power of love.

There are no temples dedicated to the Lord; however, in Assam, India, there is a temple for Kamdev. People here worship both Kamdev and his brother Madan. This is their way of showing respect toward love since life is meaningless when there is no love and sensual connection.

The Power of Kamdev

Kamdev is the Lord of love and sensual feelings. He has the power to evoke feelings in one’s heart even if the person seems stone-hearted. His strength is such that he once evoked love in Shiva’s heart for Parvati, and they both got married. 

If there is a person that you love and facing difficulty in your love life, chanting the Kamdev mantra can make that person fall in love with you. However, you should always have good intentions and a pure heart; you should not play an unfair game of love, or you might end up having the adverse effects of the mantra.

• The Kamdev mantra works best when you start it on Friday since this is the day of Venus which includes material comforts and sexual pleasures.
• You can have a picture of Kamdev with his consort Rati. You might not find one from the market. You can download the image from the Internet and get its printout.
• Place the picture in front of you. Light a Diya and offer some flowers.
• If you are chanting the mantra for a specific person, make sure you have his photo also other than the photo of Kamdev.
• Have a Jaap Mala chant the Kamdev mantra at least 108 times. You can select any mantra from above
• While chanting the mantra, visualization is the most important factor. This is because the mantra manifests whatever you visualize. Imagine yourself with your partner and having the life you want to. Imagine that the voice of this person is calling you, feel their touch, and indulge your senses into visualization.

This way, by chanting the mantra regularly, you develop more chances toward the union of you two.
