In the seventh chapter, Shri Krishan explains his creation of the worldly and spiritual world. He gives an example that as all the beads remain on one single thread, all the energies have been created by him and remain in him. Therefore, every being is the creation that also dissolves into him. He also says that though it is hard to escape from his energy Maya or this materialistic world, one can escape by surrendering himself to God.

He describes the four kinds of people who walk on the path of devotion and the four kinds who don’t. He says that devotees who are merged in him and worship him are the dearest to him. On the other hand, those who worship only celestial Gods to fulfill their desire in the materialistic world are just enjoying temporary bliss. However, they should understand that even the celestial Gods are in the control of the Supreme, and hence worshipping Supreme is worshipping the Almighty God himself.

Anegudde Vinayaka

Shri Krishna reveals that he is the ultimate truth and the reality of the Universe. He is the creator of the Yogmaya, and he is the one to destroy it. He is the Supreme, and he is the God. One who surrenders to the Supreme surrenders to me and gets to my abode after their lifetime and never takes birth again.

The Supreme Lord said: Now listen, O Arjun, by attaching your mind to me and surrounding yourself completely to me, you get to know me without a doubt.

I will now reveal to you the complete knowledge and wisdom that knowing it, nothing else remains to know.

Krishna says that amongst thousands of people, hardly one gets eligible to this Supreme truth.

Krishna says that Earth, water, fire, air, space, mind, intellect, and ego are the components of my material energy. However, this is my lesser energy, and beyond it, I have superior energy, the soul energy.

I create all living beings with these two of my energies. Everything creates from me and again dissolves into me. I am the highest and the most powerful of all; nothing stays beyond me; I am the infinite!

O son of Kunti, I am in everything; I am the taste of water, the illumination of sun and moon. I am the sacred Om, and only I am the sound in the air. There is nothing without me and nothing beyond me.

I am the source of everything, and hence I am the life force in every being. I am the runner of this entire Universe, and this whole creation is mine. I am the fragrance of Earth, I am the intellect of the intelligent, and only I am the seed of all beings.

O best of the Bharatas, in all strong persons, I am the strongest. I am the one who gives people strength and passion. I am sexual activity, the goodness, passion, and ignorance that are the materialistic energies; these are all created by me.

The Maya, in which all the people are emerged and deluded by, I am its creator. I am the cycle of karma, and I am the owner of the heavenly abodes. My divine energy Maya is so strong that it is very difficult to overcome it. Only those who surrender themselves and are absorbed in me get to know me and defeat the power of Maya.

There are four people who never know me, the ignorant of knowledge, the lazy ones who don’t use their capabilities, the deluded intellects, and the people with demoniac nature.

There are also four people who get a taste of my spiritual energy and engage in me. These are the distressed ones, the seekers after knowledge, the seekers of worldly possessions, and those who are situated in knowledge.

Among all these kinds, the people who worship me with knowledge and who are consistently devoted to me are the dearest to me. I am also very dear to them, and they are dear to me.

Although every devotee is dear to me and is noble; however, those who are consistent and have made me their supreme goal, I consider them as my very self.

To gain the knowledge with which one can surrender to me requires many births. Such a soul is very rare, and only such a soul knows me completely.

Those who are influenced by the materialistic world often worship the celestial Gods because they bless them with materialistic things. These people worship Devas and perform activities to please them.

When filled with faith, a devotee worships a celestial God and receives his desire; I alone fulfill that desire. However, the rewards received by this worship are temporary. Those who worship celestial Gods only obtain worldly things, but those who worship me get to my abode and obtain me.

Some less intelligent people also think that I, Lord Shree Krishna was without any form earlier, but now I have this personality. However, little less, they know that I am the imperishable one.

Those without knowledge do not know that I am the one without birth, and I am changeless.

Only I am the one who knows the past, present, and future; I know every living being, but no one knows me.

O descendant of Bharat, desire and aversions are a part of illusion which all living beings get born with, and hence they are deluded from birth.

But a person who is involved in pious activities gets rid of the dualities and becomes free from the illusion. Such a person worships Me with complete faith and gets my blessings in the form of knowledge.

Those who come into my shelter get free from the cycle of life and death and know Brahman. They know the individual self and the entire aspect of karmic action.

Those who understand me and know me as the field of matter and the governor of celestial gods and the Lord of all sacrificial performances, such souls are completely enlightened, and they remain in full consciousness of me even at the time of death.
