Ashtalakshmi Temple is one of the famous Hindu shrines in Kothapet, Hyderabad, Telangana. It is well-known for its modern architecture and design. The temple is located on the city's outskirts.

Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji performed the consecration of the Ashtalakshmi Temple on April 22, 1996. It took over five years to complete the construction. Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamy performed Kumbhabhishekam.
The renowned architects Mr. Padmashri S.M. Ganapati Sthapathi and Mr. M. Mathiyalagan Sthapathi conceived the structure and design. Over 134 idols of deities adorn the Raja Gopuram of the temple. Sand and cement are predominantly used in the temple’s construction.
The architecture of the Ashtalakshmi Temple, Hyderabad, is a replica of Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple, Chennai. The temple underwent several modifications from time to time. People from all spheres contributed liberally to the construction of the temple. The construction of the Ashtalakshmi Temple involved a total expenditure of Rs.10 million.
The Ashtalakshmi Temple received new proposals for constructing Archaka Nilayam, multi-storied parking, Golden Dhoti to Sriman Narayana, and Kalyana Mandapa on the temple premises.
The Ashtalakshmi Temple is located on a small hillock. Devotees climb a few steps to reach the temple. The temple is painted in white color.
The presiding deity of Ashtalakshmi Temple is Sri Lakshmi Devi, who graces her devotees in all her eight splendorous forms. The temple features the South Indian architectural style.
Sri Vijaya Lakshmi, Sri Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sri Vara Lakshmi, Sri Santana Lakshmi, Sri Gaja Lakshmi, Sri Dhana Lakshmi, Sri Dhanya Lakshmi, and Sri Aadi Lakshmi idols are installed inside the temple. All idols are decorated with precious gems and gold.
Each of her forms represents a specific aspect of wealth and fortune. Devotees visit the Ashtalakshmi Temple to seek blessings and offer prayers for prosperity, success, and well-being. The idols of Ganesha, Garuda, and Sriman Narayana are in the Ashtalakshmi Temple. Garuda is installed opposite to Sriman Narayana. Devotees can see a Yagna Shala inside the temple where Yagna takes place everyday. Anna Daanam and Gograsam (offering grass to cows) are performed at the Ashtalakshmi Temple.
The Ashtalakshmi Temple celebrates Durga Navratri with great pomp. The annual Brahmotsavam attracts huge crowds. Varalakshmi Vratam is another auspicious occasion celebrated in the temple.

The Ashtalakshmi Temple remains open from 6.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Abishekam is performed to Mahalakshmi and Sriman Narayana every Friday. The Ashtalakshmi Temple remains closed during Chandra Grahanam (lunar eclipse) and Surya Grahanam (Solar eclipse).
