Our lives are mostly ruled and influenced by the celestial bodies’ positioning and movement – the planetary system. Their position at the date and time of our birth plays a vital role besides transit periods in the future. Planets carry cosmic energy, and they are reflective of karmic bondage too.
Dosha is an occurrence when a native has some bad condition in his/her birth chart (horoscope). According to Vedic Astrology, the positioning of the malefic planets in the natal chart’s twelve houses can override or overcome the good positives the horoscope may have. This tends to harm the native’s life and not allow positive aspects to bear fruit.
Gand Mool Dosha occurs when the Moon is present in any of the Gand Mool Nakshatras at the time of a native’s birth. The Dosha occurs when the Moon is placed in any of the six Nakshatras (constellations) collectively called the Gand Mool Nakshatras. In Vedic Astrology, the Gand Mool Nakshatras are considered inauspicious. The dosha becomes more dangerous when other planets in the birth chart become malefic.
Gand Mool Nakshatras are ruled by the planets Mercury and Ketu. They are Ashwani, Ashlesha, Magha, Revati, Jyeshtha, and Moola, collectively called the Gand Mool Nakshatras.
The Moon takes around one day to transit a Nakshatra. As the Moon transits from one Nakshatra to the other, at one point, the Moon will be partly placed in one Nakshatra and partly in the other. If the Moon is placed in the four stages or phases of any of these Nakshatras in the natal chart at the time of birth, Gand Mool Dosha will be present.
A native-born in the Gand Mool Nakshatra can cause serious problems. The parents, siblings, and relatives may be affected. Such natives may create issues in the family and face serious obstacles at a certain point in life.
