Varahi amma, the Goddess, was created to pacify Lord Narsimha after killing the demon king Hiranyakashyap. One should perform the Puja every Saturday to please Goddess Varahi. The Puja should go on from between 6 am to 7 pm; if the timing is not comfortable, you can also conclude the Puja from 8 pm to 9 pm. This Puja hence should be performed on Saturdays for eight consecutive weeks. You can also perform this Puja at any temple nearby using the same procedure.
