Gemology deals with gems which are used as a remedial measure in vedic astrology. In ancient period Emperors used to wear lots of jewels which contain gemstones. Because gemstones receive light emitting from planets. Each planet has significant qualities like leadership qualities, intuitive power, courage, intelligence, money abundance, spirituality, comforts, marriage job, profession, earthly pleasures and enlightenment. If a person owns a salagrama, then he must do some rituals and poojas to get the blessings of Lord Vishnu. Shalagramams are generally collected from the riverbeds and banks like Gantaki river in Nepal.
Rudraksha:
Rudraksha is a seed of rudraksha tree. The meaning of Rudraksha is eyes of Lord Shiva. There are 21 types of rudrakshas are available on the market. single faced rudraksha to 21 faced rudraksha. If a person wears rudraksha, then the person would be able to possess good health, high energy level and he would be able to connect with spirituality naturally.
Sphatik:
Sphatik is clear quartz crystal which gives cooling effect. Wearing Sphatik removes excess heat from body. It gives concentration and gives singular focus. It relieves migraine headaches and reduces stress. It can be wearing like a sphatik mala around the neck.
