This is a very powerful Stotram for worshipping Lord Narasimha, and it is believed to get rid of ‘runas’ meaning ‘debts’. The debts are not related to money alone. It can include the debts we owe to our ancestors and other karmas. We are certainly indebted to our parents and ancestors, without whom we could not have been born on earth. In a sense, the Stotram also requests the Lord to grant liberation from the birth-death cycle. By reciting the Runa Vimochana Narasimha Stotram lyrics, we can obtain the mercy and blessings of Lord Narasimha to overcome all our difficulties.
