God does not make distinctions between men and women, so there is no reason why women cannot wear Rudraksha.

There are many false assumptions about Rudraksha for women. But the fact is that women, too, can receive Shiva’s blessings by wearing the auspicious Rudraksha.

Myths and Reality of Rudraksha

Some people oppose women wearing Rudraksha due to ignorance or misconceptions. According to legend, the entire universe turned dark when Goddess Parvati covered Shiva’s eyes. She went to Kanchi and did severe penance to atone for her deed. During this time, she wore Rudraksha beads. This implies that women wearing Rudraksha is not prohibited in any way.

Hence, women, too, can wear a Rudraksha and derive benefits from its divine energy.
