Ketu Mantra In English

Ketu is the south lunar node and a shadow planet in Vedic astrology. Ketu can be described as the mind’s introspective function. Its role is to examine the various stimuli that flow into the mind. Like the north lunar node, Rahu, which is also a shadow planet, Ketu is associated with spirituality. But while Rahu works on the outer plane, Ketu tends to work on the inner plane.

In tandem, they represent the soul’s evolutionary and karmic orientation. Ketu is all about renunciation and self-inquiry with the aim of refining and perfecting the inner realm. He shuns worldly pleasures and seeks all that is real and permanent. He signifies achievements and mastery that have been accumulated over a person’s past lifetimes.

Both Rahu and Ketu evoke fear in people, as they are believed to be malefic planets. But Ketu is less malefic than Rahu. If Ketu is malefic in a horoscope, the native suffers many problems in life caused by Ketu’s unfavorable position. Ketu makes people more spiritual and leads them towards moksha by renouncing material comforts. Ketu brings self-realization, self-abnegation, and enlightenment.

Ketu signifies past life karma. If one has been selfish at the expense of others in one’s past life, Ketu will ensure that the person pays the price for it. A positive effect of Ketu is that it bestows mastery of occult subjects as well as healing and psychic abilities. Ketu also brings sudden and unexpected results, which can be good or bad.

Ketu can make a person virtuous. If you are a student whose Ketu is favorable, you can understand the contents of a book by merely skimming through it. You will also be able to talk and write about any subject without reading a lot. If Ketu is positive, it helps you preserve the knowledge you acquired in your previous births. If a child has bad Ketu, they will lack concentration and find it hard to focus.

One way to reduce the adverse effects of Ketu is to chant Ketu mantras regularly. This can enable one to attain great wisdom and spiritual enlightenment. The Mantra recitation should ideally begin on a Tuesday, during Shukla Paksha, and one should chant it at least 17000 times. To get faster results, arrange ‘Mahamrityunjayjapa’ when reciting Ketu Mantra. It is beneficial to chant Ketu Mantra if you are going through the Dasha or Bhukti (sub Dasha) period of Ketu.
