Goddess Varahi Devi represents the feminine aspect of Creation, present in all beings. She is one among the seven Matrikas, or Mother Goddesses, and also the female counterpart of Vishnu’s boar avatar, Varaha. Tantric rites are used in her worship. She is worshipped in the neighboring country of Nepal as well. Reciting the Varahi Mantra is believed to destroy one’s enemies, attract prosperity, and fulfill one’s wishes.
