This Stotram is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara or Tirupati Balaji, a form of Vishnu. It describes the glory and virtues of the deity and seeks his blessings and protection. By reciting it regularly, one can please the deity and earn his blessings. It is believed to bestow peace of mind and remove all evils from your life. It can also bring health, wealth, and prosperity. It should be recited early in the morning. It is one of the 4 parts of the Venkateshwara Suprabhatham that is recited daily in homes and temples, including the Tirupati Balaji temple. The entire Suprabhatham was composed by Prativadi Bhayamkaram Annan, a disciple of Manavala Mahamuni in the early 15th century.
