The Keelaka Stotram is a prayer for Goddess Shakti and is found in Sage Markandeya’s Durga Saptashati. It is chanted before completing the Durga Saptashati and after reciting the Argala Stotram. Through this Stotra, the devotee requests the Goddess to remove the blocks in energy and bhakti sadhana, and other aspects of life. Such blocks cause disruption and frustration. Keelaka Stotram can remove the blocks in the mantra sadhana and bestow the goddess’ grace and blessings. It helps one to achieve success in Shad-karmas. By invoking the Goddess, one can gain mental peace, freedom from negativity, spiritual accomplishments, good health, wealth, courage, protection from enemies, and Moksha.
