Kanakadhara Stotram comprises 21 hymns on Goddess Lakshmi that have the power to alleviate hardships and grant boons. Lakshmi is the goddess of prosperity, wealth, fertility, good fortune, and courage. Kanakdhara means “torrential rain of gold”. It was composed by Adi Guru Shankaracharya Bhagavatpada. It is also called Surarnadhara Stotra. The Stotra is believed to help one overcome financial woes. Chanting it 101 times can bestow gold and prosperity.
