In Hindu mythology, Kalki is Lord Vishnu’s tenth avatar. It is believed that he will appear at the end of the current Mahayuga, which is Kali Yuga. The Puranas have predicted that Kalki will be atop a white horse and carry a drawn blazing sword. He will also usher in Satya Yuga. Chanting the Kalki Gayatri Mantra is said to have the power to remove tragedies and disasters during Kali Yuga. This mantra should be chanted on Ekadasi thithi and Saturdays. It can be recited 11, 108, or 1008 times.
