‘AADI’ GODDESS POWER MONTH

Blessings – Grants all forms of prosperity (Sarva Aishwarya), affluence, and luxuries, purifies karma, bestows Gnana (spiritual wisdom), removes adverse effects of planets & grants salvation

Adi Parashakti, the Supreme Consciousness (Para Brahman) in feminine form, is the mother of the Trimurti (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva) and source of all Divine energies. She creates, sustains, and dissolves everything with boundless mercy and strength.

Blessings – Clears confusion & sorrow, bestows strength & stability, removes karmic burdens and obstacles, grants wealth, and uplifts spiritually toward Moksha (liberation).

Varahi, the boar-faced commander of the Divine Mother, governs royal functions (Rajakarya Siddhi) and manifests courage, wealth, power, status, and inner mastery. She is the destroyer of ignorance and the force behind decisive, righteous action.

Vyasa Draupadi, the fire-born Queen of Righteousness, is a radiant form of Shakti who embodies virtue, strength, and Divine grace. She fulfills noble desires and uplifts the soul with courage, beauty (Saundarya), and destiny-shaping power.

Shakambari, the forest-born Goddess with a hundred compassionate eyes, manifested during a famine to restore life with fruits and herbs. She is the embodiment of nature’s bounty and nourishment (Shaaka means vegetables, Ambari means bearer).

Bhavani, a form of Adi Parashakti, is the giver of life (Bhava means existence) and fierce slayer of the demon Mahishasura. She is worshipped for inner strength, Divine mercy, and liberation from fear, sin, and sorrow.

Maha Mariamman, the pre-Vedic Grama Devata (village guardian), emerged to protect against droughts, diseases, and injustices. Known as Pattalamma in ancient Tamil texts, she fiercely upholds truth and maternal

Blessings – Protects from epidemics & evil spirits, enables safe childbirth, grants health & wealth, and grants family well-being.

Fridays in the month of Aadi are special as they are filled with Goddess power and blessings. On Aadi Fridays (Aadi Velli), connect with nine magnificent forms of Shakti- Adi Parashakti, Angali, Maha Mari Amman, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhavani, Jwalamukhi, Ashtadasa Shakti Peetha Devis, Varahi, and Vyasa Draupadi, to invoke the Goddesses’ limitless compassion, fierce protection, healing grace, Divine wisdom, and wealth-bestowing and wish-fulfilling powers.

On the final Aadi Friday, we will invoke Goddess Renuka Devi, Compassionate Mother, who empowers resilience, courage, vitality, righteous conduct, and Divine devotion, along with Goddess Gauri, luminous form of Parvati, who blesses with relationship bliss, good progeny, protection of lineage, and family harmony.
