Karma-Cleansing and Wish-Fulfilling Ceremonies

AstroVed’s Karma-Cleansing and Wish-Fulfilling ceremonies invoke the life-transforming energy of Shiva Rudra by performing Hydration ritual with the ultimate prayer dedicated to Rudra (Shiva’s fierce form) chanting followed by powerful Vasodhara Homa (Wish Fulfillment Fire Lab). Supported by a Powerspot Pooja and Hymn in praise of offering Bilva leaves to Shiva, these rituals help establish a deep connection with Shiva Rudra and invoke his blessings to help overcome hurdles in life, mitigate adverse effects of past life deeds, remove ignorance, resolve problems, and fulfill wishes.

Scriptural Praise of Shiva Rudra

According to scriptures, Shiva is hailed as the Supreme Being who is formless, timeless, limitless, and transcendent. Shiva’s name symbolizes auspiciousness. As per the earliest of the Vedas, the Rig Veda, Rudra is the fierce aspect of Shiva, protecting his devotees by destroying evil forces. Rudra means ‘he who removes miseries.’ He is essentially the ultimate energy that cleanses and purifies.

Though his name and form may look fierce, Rudra is a very compassionate archetype who can easily be propitiated with sincere devotion. With his immense mercy, he can bless you with various material and spiritual benefits. Sacred texts highlight that offering prayers to Shiva as Rudra can remove sorrow, grant protection, bestow auspiciousness, clear sins/karma, and wipe out negativity.

Bilvashtakam Chanting (Hymn in Praise of Offering Bilva Leaves to Shiva)

Composed by great saint Adi Shankaracharya, the sacred Bilvashtakam is a hymn that speaks of the power and glory of offering Bilva leaves to Shiva. According to the hymn, the Bilva tree was created by Goddess Lakshmi, and it has a special significance in Shiva worship. If a person prays to Shiva with a clear mind and offers a Bilva leaf, one can receive Shiva’s blessings and get all his wishes fulfilled. The Bilva leaf is believed to be blemish-free and have the ability to destroy sins committed in three previous births and help you attain salvation.

Abishekam (Hydration Pooja) to Rudra by Chanting Sri Rudram (Ultimate Shiva Prayer)

Sri Rudram is a Vedic hymn that is considered the ultimate Shiva Prayer. Sri Rudram is divided into two parts, with each part further divided into eleven sections. The first part has verses ending with the term “Nama,” and hence this part is named ‘Namakam’ or ‘Rudram.’ The second part is named ‘Chamakam’ as the verses end with “Cha Me,” which means “let this be granted to me.” This first part of the prayer is written as a plea to transform Rudra from his fierce form to his peaceful form. Every section, called ‘Anuvaka,’ when chanted can offer unique blessings for prosperity, good health, wisdom, removal of negative influences, and protection.

Shiva, the lover of Abishekam (Hydration Pooja), receives his hydration ritual with special ingredients while chanting this sacred hymn of Rudra. According to sacred texts, performing hydration Pooja to Shiva by chanting Rudram can dissolve bad karma, fulfill wishes, remove fears and negativity and grant spiritual evolution.

Vasodhara Homa (Karma-Cleansing and Wish-Fulfillment Fire Lab)

The continuous dripping of ghee in the Fire Lab is called Vasodhara. This acts as the powerful medium to carry your prayers to Archetype Rudra. Doing so as prescribed in sacred texts can help gain his blessings for clearing sins and wish fulfillment. Performing this homa by chanting Chamakam Prasnam (wish-fulfillment blessing portion of Sri Rudram), according to Vedic texts, can remove all evils, cleanse sins, help attain desires, and bestow all-around peace, prosperity, and happiness.
