Innovative Proxy Holy Bath in River Krishna

Vedic Technology to Cleanse Body and Soul and Fulfill Wishes

What is Pushkaram?

Pushkaram is a yearly festival during the transit of Jupiter in each zodiac sign. Each sign is associated with a holy river in India. Every year, body and soul cleansing rituals take place on the banks of one of the 12 holy rivers.

Krishna Pushkaram is celebrated once in 12 years when Jupiter transits in the sign Virgo. The upcoming Pushkaram is celebrated on the banks of the holy river Krishna, from August 12-23, 2016 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Mythology behind Pushkaram

Jupiter-Virgo

Pushkara, the son of Rain god Varuna, attained his elevated status by performing great penance towards Archetype Shiva and Brahma to be granted two wishes. First, Brahma granted the status of being able to live in his Kamandala (water pot) and second, received ‘Jala Tattva Siddhi’ (transforming into water element).

According to the mythology, during Pushkaram, you can be spiritually purified. Along with Pushkara, Jupiter agreed to magnify the holiness of the river corresponding to the zodiac sign he is transiting. Together they cleanse the sins of the devoted people who bathe there and bless them with complete auspiciousness.

Significance of Krishna Pushkaram

On this holy day, Jupiter, Pushkara, our ancestors and other divine celestial beings are present in the holy water of river Krishna to bless us and remove our sins.

It has also been proven scientifically that river Krishna is a great source of rich minerals that have properties to refresh our mind and body. People have benefitted from the healing properties of the water while bathing there, specifically during the holy festival when the healing energies are increased.

Benefits of Krishna Pushkaram Rituals

It is believed that Krishna Pushkaram rituals combine the most powerful day and technology to heal your body and mind.  This holy day is a spiritual time window to cleanse your soul by offering prayers to Lord Shiva, Lord Narasimha (lion-faced avatar of archetype Vishnu) and Goddess Jogulamba (form of Goddess Parvati).

In addition, a Kumkum (sacred red powder for the Goddess) Archana, also known as Gowri Pooja, is performed on your behalf to invoke Goddess Jogulamba (Parvati) in one of her eighteen Shakti energy powerspots so that you receive her blessings during Krishna Pushkaram.

Proxy Holy Bath and Prayers at Krishna River

Traditionally, this ritual involves taking a sacred bath in the holy River Krishna during Krishna Pushkaram to cleanse your soul, remove your sins and fulfill your wishes in this life. We have arranged for a proxy person to bathe and pray on your behalf through the process of proxy technology- so that you can still receive the blessings no matter where you are in the world.

The Vedas say that you are cleansed internally and externally in holy water and it is not just taking a river bath.  It is a special opportunity to offer your prayers to the divine being who presides over the holy river.
