Grand Invocation Of Siddha Idaikkadar: Master Of Planets, Divine Mystic & Immortal Yogi
Idaikkadar, one of the 18 Tamil Siddhas (Sages with mystical powers called ‘Ashtamaha Siddhi’ or eight supernatural powers), was an ardent devotee of Shiva and Krishna, and Master of Astrology and Siddha Medicine who lived during the 2nd – 3rd Century BC. He was an enlightened scholar and disciple of Siddha Bogar, possessed extraordinary Prana Shakti (Primordial Life Force Energy), and performed many miracles for the overall welfare of the people.
According to Sacred texts, his most notable contribution was the rearrangement of the Navagraha (9 Planets), which helped overcome a severe famine and drought in the land and restored prosperity, happiness, and peace.
