AstroVed will be performing a Grand Fire Lab and chanting to a unique form of Hanuman every month as part of the Hanuman Yearlong Program. In the tenth month (October), we will be invoking Choodamani Anjaneya- a Divine savior archetype who can help destroy sorrow, suffering, and negativity, enhance confidence, hope, and devotion, and fulfill earnest wishes. Propitiating this form of Hanuman can revive your spirits, help you gain mental, physical, and spiritual strength to face your enemies and adverse circumstances, and attain overall success.

Hanuman Pancharatnam (Garland of Five Gems of Hanuman) Chanting

The sacred hymn Hanuman Pancharatnam, composed by Sage Adi Sankara, means ‘the garland of five gems on Hanuman.’ The hymn extols the Divine traits and super-human powers of Hanuman and his pure devotion to Rama (Vishnu’s avatar). According to sacred texts and traditional belief, chanting this Holy hymn of Hanuman can help you enjoy the world’s pleasures, rescue you from distress, and bestow a long and prosperous life.

Choodamani Anjaneya Homa (Fire Lab for Wish-Fulfillment, Equilibrium & Inner Strength)

According to the sacred text, Ramayana, Rama sent his trusted companion and loyal devotee Anjaneya to find Sita, his beloved wife, who was kidnapped by Ravana and held captive in Lanka. Anjaneya used his wisdom, intelligence and superhuman skills to find Sita and returned to Rama with a token from Sita- her choodamani (decorative hair clip). Due to this incredible feat of Anjaneya, he was named Choodamani Anjaneya.
