Grand Statue Installation Ceremony of Rishi Agasthiyar- Master of All Siddhas & Disciplines
Rishi Agasthiyar is an eminent Sapta Rishi, who was said to have been born from the Gods Varuna and Mitra when performing a Yagna. Agasthiyar is known as the Father of Tamil Language, Literature and created the treatise on Tamil grammar called ‘Agattiyam.’ He is considered the Leader of the 18 Tamil Siddhas, or beings who gained Ashta Siddhi (8 Divine Supernatural Powers). He is also called the Father of Nadi Astrology, as he founded this branch of Astrology.
Rishi Agasthiyar has complete mastery over science, technology, arts, dance, music, drama, literature, and astronomy. He has also contributed significantly to the creation of various martial, and healing arts, Siddhi texts, Vedic Literature, Yoga, and Kaya Kalpa (anti-aging therapy).
