Meditating with this mala or wearing it brings in balance and harmony of the masculine energy of cause and feminine energy of effect.

The word Rudraksha literally means Shiva Tears. The Mythological story goes that Lord Shiva once went into deep meditation for the well being of all living creatures. When he woke up, he opened his eyes and tear drops fell on the Earth. These tear drops took the form of seeds that later on became the Rudraksha tree. The dry seed-capsules from the Rudraksha tree form the rudraksha beads, which are used as a rosary as it is believed that the seed of Rudraksha contains the secrets of the entire evolution of the cosmos within it.

The Shiva Shakti malas alternate the Rudraksha beads with crystal beads that represent the divine feminine energy of Shakti.

This is also known as the individual’s Nakshatra or Janma Nakshatra. This phenomenon will get repeated in every star cycle and will generally happen once a month and 12 times a year. When the Moon travels in the birth star of a person during his or her month of birth, that day will be known as the person’s star birthday.

Rose Quartz Mala

These malas were energized in a Full Moon Fire Lab to invoke the Archetypal Feminine. The rose quartz is considered the "love stone". It promotes love, compassion and forgiveness and is often associated with Archetypal Being Saraswati (associated with intelligence, higher learning, and artistic/musical talents). It also has a calming influence and helps clear negative, stored emotions such as anger, resentment, jealousy, and fear. You may wear it or use it to count recitations of sounds.
