AstroVed will be invoking the Ultimate Guardians of the Eight Directions of the Universe- Ashta Dikpalaka in a Grand Fire Lab along with chanting the sacred hymn Vastu Japam (Hymn to Mitigate Architectural and Energetic Defects) as part of our Nava Protection Grand Ceremonies.

- Ashta Dikpalaka are the pillars of Vastu Shastra, the Vedic science of Architecture
- They symbolize the existence of the Supreme Being in every direction and enable access to their Divine energy
- According to the Devi Bhagavatam, Ashta Dikpalaka are denoted as the eight powerful Guardians of the eight zones of the earth. They are:

- Vastu Shastra is an ancient mystic science for designing and building that takes into account the interplay of various forces of nature, namely the five elements (earth, water, wind, fire, and ether) and the position of the planets to ensure a positive flow of energy in any space

The ritual is the carbonization of thoughts. Carbon is our information bearing atoms. The carbon residue (ash) given out as Prasad is to be placed on the third eye area of the participants and carries the blessings of the archetypes invoked.
