He is described in the Shiva <\/span><span>Purana<\/span><span> as having a thousand arms, a lion-head with matted hair, and wings like a bird and eight feet. <\/span><span>Sarabha<\/span><span> has two consorts, Goddess <\/span><span>Durga<\/span><span> and Goddess <\/span><span>Prathyangira<\/span><span>, who form the mighty Lord\u2019s wings. Sacred texts state that it was the two wings that helped soothe the anger of <\/span><span>Narasimha<\/span><span>.
