The period during the one-and-a-half hours before sunset on every 13th Moon day is a premier karma-dissolving powertime called Pradosham. This Karma-Dissolving Prayer Service will be performed to honor Shiva, the Supreme Archetype of Karma Removal. On this Pradosham day, the Moon will be in Uttara Phalguni, a star of work and charity. Uttara Phalguni is also an important star of relationship energies. This is an auspicious time to release negative relationship karma that interferes with our ability to have loving, gracious relationships with others. This prayer service can help us receive blessings to manifest and experience love in our interactions with others.

This Interactive Fire Lab will be performed to invoke Ganesha his form as Veera Ganapathi (also spelled Vira Ganapathi). In this form he is known as the “Valiant Warrior” who helps us overcome fears and threats. Veera Ganapathi can bless us to develop courage so we can face life’s challenges with confidence and overcome them. He is often depicted in a dynamic, commanding pose with 16 arms. His numerous arms carry several battle implements such as a goad, discus, bow, arrow, sword, club, hook, shield, spear, mace, battle axe, trident, hammer, Nagapasha (serpent noose) and victory flag. His weapons are said to be symbols of tremendous mind powers that Veera Ganapathi can use to remove ignorance and evil. This fire prayer will be done during the beneficial obstacle removal energies of 4th Moon phase, a powertime for Ganesha. On this day, the Moon will be in Jyestha, an immense star of courage and conflict resolution. This is an excellent time to invite Veera Ganapathi to shine his splendid brilliance to increase our courage and our confidence.

He is the totality of time – the beginning, the middle, and the end. Bhairava is Shiva himself, who gives the supreme understanding of all possibilities of human consciousness. It is related to time because the faster time moves, the faster the mind moves. It should be incredibly fast, and Bhairava instantly manifests things for you.” ~ Dr. Pillai

This Interactive Fire Lab will be performed during 8th Waning Moon phase, a time to connect with some of the intense qualities of the divine. The Moon will be in Uttara Ashadha, a star of enlightenment and prosperity. This fire prayer will invoke Kala Bhairava, archetype of time management, in his form as Asitanga Bhairava. Asitanga Bhairava can help increase creative energy and bless us with success in our ventures. He can also give relief from curses and afflictions. He is often depicted in a standing position with four arms. He holds a mala (rosary), a water vessel, a twisted dagger and a small cup. Invoking Asitanga Bhairava in a Fire Lab can quicken our creative instincts and accelerate our experience of time so that our creations are manifested more quickly and easily.
