If you know the science of alphabets and the sounds you will become omnipotent and omnipresent. This was the foregone conclusion of the ancient yogis of India who were determined to lead a life without limitation, without disease, old age and death.
It is important for everyone to know how the alphabets and sounds create and control our destiny day by day or even minute by minute. First you have to know that there are 51 of those alphabets, or sounds, that govern consciousness (both energy and matter). Once you are in tune with the alphabets and sounds, you can re-organize your destiny. Traditionally constant chanting of the sounds has been used as a method to access the power behind the mantras.
Dr. Pillai has designed yet another powerful method to use the sound waves and alphabets with the help of Golden Bilva leaves. If you speak a mantra or sound one time to a Golden Bilva Leaf, the effects will multiply by 1000 times or more. Through the use of the Golden Leaves one can easily master the 51 sounds or alphabets in a relatively small amount of time.
To this purpose, we have come up with this offering of golden leaves with a chart containing the 51 sounds for daily use. The Golden Leaves will be energized on every Shivaratri at the Chidambaram temple, the pre-eminent vortex or temple for the alphabets and sounds. Chidambaram is the temple for the Dancing Shiva. When Shiva danced, he used a special drum. From the drum emerged the sounds and the alphabets.
These 51 Sacred Sounds are also called "Matrikas" or "little mothers" since they give birth to all creation.
The Matrikas
The Matrikas are the "little mothers" or the sounds that birth of all creation. Each sound or matrika is a goddess who is both soft and maternal and violent destructors and warriors. These Matrika goddesses inspire all of us, men and women, to embrace both the creative and destructive sides of ourselves. We can stop the ongoing conflict inside, stop battling ourselves, and become balanced in our own strength and warrior spirit. They inspire us to create a fulfilling life full of divine miracles.
Matrika Shakti is the powerful energy vibration of the sounds that make up our internal truth. In Vedic mythology, Brahma the creator, first showed himself as a golden embryo of sound. He was a vowel, vibrating outward, the sound echoed back upon itself and became water and wind. In Sanskrit, this power is called Matrika Shakti, the inherent creative energy behind the letters that make up words. It is said that each letter of the Sanskrit alphabet has a corresponding sound vibration both in the subtle energy channels of our bodies and in the cosmos. When these sound vibrations resonate with a corresponding vibration within us they create thoughts, then these thoughts gradually manifest the grosser forms of feelings and then speech.
Through our practice of meditation and mantra, we create a new kind of matrika that transforms our experience of life itself. We are purified, relieved and open to the fullest expression of our most genuine selves. We create greater potential for relationship by cultivating compassion for all living beings. The Secret of Chidambaram

The Nataraja temple of Chidambaram is one of the 5 elemental temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, God or Ultimate Consciousness. Chidambaram means 'Sky of Consciousness'. This temple is dedicated to the element akasha or pure space or ether. Akasha is the only material substance that we can experience with our senses that can be used as an example of God; and that too only if we can somehow experience complete vacuum like in outer space.
To the left of the main Lord Nataraj or Dancing Shiva shine, there is a shrine that is called the 'Chidambaram Rahasiyam.' Chidambara Rahasiyam translates to the Secret of Chidambaram.
A carved stone lattice with little openings obstructs full view of this shrine. After the priests show the main arti or flame to Lord Natarja, he takes the flame to the Chidambara Rahasiyam shrine and directs attention to it. He will then say, "Look closely, see The Secret of Chidambaram. Look closely." He will show the flame for a few more seconds in the shrine to light it to allow devotees to catch sight of The Secret.
After the darshan visitors have testified to seeing a sight like a clear star lit night sky or flashes of light among other things. What is actually in the shrine of Chidambara Rahasiyam is a curtain of bilva leaves made of gold- 51 Golden Bilva Leaves that represent the sounds that create the universe; that create destinies.
When the curtain of Golden Bilva Leaves catch the light from the light offering or arti, it mimics the starlit night sky or space symbolizing the ultimate experience of God; of Ultimate Consciousness.
