Okay – what’s a pooja? A
pooja is a feast or an offering. In the Virtual pooja we are
offering the planetary energies respect and asking that they
bless us in return. A gesture for respect might be simply
to repeat their mantra silently, it can also take the form
of an offering. In the Virtual Pooja – we take the Hindu
elements of pooja and make the offering online. For each planet,
we offer incense – a sweet smell to draw them to us,
a coconut that we break – a symbol of our human spirit,
a ghee lamp – with light so they can see us and ghee
for their enjoyment, flowers – a symbol of space energy
which transcends the Earth plane to be received where they
are, music, their mantras, and the pure tones of a bell. The
Virtual Poojas are effective in communicating your desire to
be in tune with the planets.
