For purposes of finding out about the energies of this Full Moon Day we take the Moon's position as the 1st house, or the Moon is in the 1st house. The placement of the other planets in houses is taken as that number from the 1st house where the Moon is which is the house of Sagittarius. Guru Purnima is always the Full Moon when the Moon is in Sagittarius and the Sun is in Gemini.
Moon is in Purvashada a star ruled by Venus whose overlord is Goddess Lakshmi and in the house, Sagittarius, which is ruled by Jupiter the Guru.
Jupiter is the planet of the Guru or teacher. His placement in the 5th house augments divine blessings especially in spiritual pursuits. Jupiter aspects and adds power to the 5th, 7th and 9th houses from its position which in this case is the 9th and 11th from the Moon and the 1st where the Moon sits. These are spirituality and good luck, fulfillment of desires and you/your mind and your life.
Venus in the 7th house from the Moon represents partnership, relationship and business or rather Goddess Lakshmi's blessing. Venus is 'looking' at the Moon (looking at you) which is ruled by the Goddess and also is the ruler of the 11th house which of course is the house of fulfillment and desires.
Venus is sitting with the Sun who is lord of the 9th house. A planet who shares another house with a another planet, shares its attributes temporarily to some degree. Therefore Venus benefits by acting as a conduit to the 1st house by bringing in spirituality good luck from the 9th house or Leo, ruled by the Sun.
Mars is the ruler of both the 5th house, where Jupiter is sitting, and the12th house of liberation and detachment. Mars is aggressive and energetic planet having potential for getting success in efforts and activities. Mars will cut through blockages and lethargy and make people brisk and proactive to cut through barriers and obtains success in their endeavors. Mars is in the 6th house of endeavors and on a day where his own star rules- Mrigasira. Therefore this placement of Mars gives Jupiter the Guru more energy and action in spiritual pursuits. Spiritual people will get the boost needed in order to take action.
Ketu in the same house as Mars and in Mar's star of Mrigasira indirectly gives some energy to teh 12th house of liberation and detachment which is traditionally what Guru Purnima is thought to be- a day to tune into the Guru with the intention of gaining enlightenment. Ketu brings transformation and detachment.
The Mars and Ketu combination gives spiritual people the boost to take energetic action to get things done in their spiritual. On Guru Purnima it also gives the boost to take action to make gains of fulfillment and your worldly or material desires.
Rahu in the12th house of liberation and detachment will help cut the ties to your limited life. You will gain liberty from attachments to your current life.
Mercury in the 8th house is favorable for transformation as the overlord is Lord Vishnu who is Lakshmi's consort, is in the Moon ruled Cancer. Vishnu/Krishna. Venus in the Mercury ruled Gemini gives support here with understanding the gifts the Goddess will give and guidance with cognitive clarity.
Who is Radha-Krishna?
The story of Radha-Krishna is the story of effortless manifestation through love, dance, and music. Glory to Radha-Krishna and Tulsi.
Radha-Kirshna is not simply the story of the Hindu High God Krishna having an adulterous relationship with the beautiful shepherdess Radha who is already married to someone. This is a vulgarized portrayal of deeply philosophical and yet practical story of the origin of matter and emotions.
Remember that the name Krishna is haloed. Some yogi went several thousands years of meditation to come up with this sound so that it could be given to Krishna when he would be born. Similarly Radha is just not an adulterous lover, she is the supreme and primordial Goddess of power and love.
Their romance symbolizes the meaning of life – the meaning of music from the flute pipe – the meaning of dance – the meaning of beauty – the meaning of immortality hidden behind mortal existence. I am not simply writing poetry but physics as well. The physics of physical and non-physical love creating physical matter.
One mystical meaning of Radha revealed by Venkatrama siddha is that she is the epitome of devotion who carried Krishna's feet in her heart eternally and even during her sleep. No wonder this continuous meditation on Krishna without an effort will give you everything.
The problem is cerebral, effortful and forceful thinking of a mantra. Radha reminds one of Cleopatra who said that she never thought about Anthony because she never forgot him. Radha is the ultimate manifesting energy. She represents the primordial cause that creates all effects.
There is no effect without a cause. Cause and Radha are synonyms. What is cause? It is logic, it is meaning, and more importantly an energy that creates both cause and effect. What is that energy? It is UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. It is difficult for human beings to practice unconditional love. All human love is conditional and agenda orientated. But Radha-Krishna can help us.
Keep a beautiful statue of Radha, dancing to Krishna's flute. Throw a few petals of Tulsi leaves over the statue on a daily basis or whenever possible. You will be initiated into the secret of unconditional love and manifestation of an effect without a cause. Tulsi is the mystical herb who herself was the beautiful Brinda who was seduced by Vishnu impersonating as the demon husband of Brinda.
During a recent pilgrimage in South India, Dr. Pillai was irresistibly 'called' by Radha. The pictured statue was amongst the stock in the souvenir shop of the hotel Dr. Pillai stopped at for lunch. He was attracted into the shop to 'discover' her, pulled by her power of love and joy. He went on with His pilgrimage but her calls did not cease. He ended up going out of His way and on the return of the pilgrimage. He freed her from the shop.
Upon returning to Chennai Dr. Pillai set out to find an artisan who could replicate this statue as it is not like any other. There is such refinement, fluidity and poetry to the pose of both Radha and Krishna. They are alive. Artisans were called in from many directions to test their skill at replication of this exceptional piece. The Astisan was found! ...and has been commissioned to re-create Radha Krishna statues that are available to you now.
Radha was the epitome of unconditional love for Krishna, and wanted to keep her divine adoration even a secret to Krishna. She was so deeply immersed in thoughts of Krishna that Krishna gave her the ultimate acknowledgement - 'Radha is eternally inseparable from Krishna'.
This is an important opportunity to contribute selflessly towards making their blissful, celebratory energy available - for your personal life and for everyone in the world - to live life as a daily celebration of love, ecstasy, beauty and abundance.
The secret to unconditional love and manifestation is not a logical one. Throw tulsi leaves on this statue of Radha dancing to Krishna's flute on a daily basis and you will be initiated- you will connect with this power of effect without a cause.
